WFD Childrens Show

pedigree, beauty and ability

Our Fancy will be going to her first show in July 2009.  We are really excited to see this little filly in the ring.  She will get inspected in October with the NASPR.

Our Britt (Big Ayr) will be inspected also in October with AWR.

Our Quincy (Chicks Conclusive) is coming along very nicely, plan to show him soon in some flat classes.

Our D'Arcy is getting more lovely all the time.  We have introduced her  to having a bridle and saddle on, she says "no problem".
She now stands 15 hands and growing.

Sorry it took me so long to let everyone know how Fancy did at the Maryland Pony Breeders Show in July.  In The WPCSA Half Welsh 2 years old and under fillies she placed 2nd under Judge Kimberly Blanche -Wagner and 1st under Judge Suzane Stevens. Not to shabby since she is still a foal competing against older ponies.  In the WPCSA she received 2 Reserve Championships under both Judges.  Than in the MHSA Pony Hunter/Breeder Foals she placed 1st, and in Crossbred Foals she also placed 1st.  It was a great weekend.

A special "Thank You" goes out to Shawn Bigley for doing such an outstanding job handling Fancy, and also to Michelle Uloa for handling Fancy's dam, Ebby.

Fancy's inspection was held on Saturday, October 10, 2009.  Her overall score was a 7.8 (First Premium).  Comments were... lovely sportpony filly, neck well shaped and set on, leggy filly in correct proportion, good croup, walk improved over dam, trot rhythmical and improved over dam, canter short on the day.

Britt's inspection was held on Sunday, October 11, 2009.  Her overall score was a 7.9 (First Premium).  Comments were...excellent sporthorse filly, excellent neckset and length, croup correct and correct angle, shoulders correct length and slope, leggy filly in correct proportion, walks correctly and steps well center of gravity, canter and trot balanced and rhythmical.

Fancy was Maryland Pony Breeders 2009 Champion in Hunter/Breeder Foals.  Champion Crossbred Foals, and 4th in Half Welsh Fillies 2 and Under.
Many thanks goes out to Shawn Bigley for doing such a great job handling Fancy.

We have been taking Rascal to Swan Lakes Winter Schooling Series.  He is proving to be a nice medium pony.  Still very green, but has been Reserved Champion at his first 2 shows in his division and moved up to Champion at his last one on January 10, 2010.  Rascal has been  the only pony in his division.
Thank you Julia Prebula for doing such a great job showing Rascal.
Special thanks to her parents for supporting her interest in riding.

Juliette is rounding out nicely carrying her 2010 foal by Beste Gold.  Foal should arrive mid May.

Ebby is also looking very round with her 2010 foal by Fox Cry Nicodemous (also Fancy's sire).  Foal should arrive early April.

Rascal finished the Winter Schooling Series at Swan Lake.  His partner, Julia and him were the Champion in their division.  I am very proud of both of them.

Our 1st foal arrived April 8, 2010.  "It's a Boy" Visit the New Arrivals page and click on 2010 to see this cutie.

Getting ready for the 2010 show season, will keep you posted with up coming shows and who is going...maybe we will see you there!
